\"Buds<\/p>\n

Beverley has been associated with the Yackandandah Theatre Company for fifteen years, and first started writing plays to meet the needs of this group.\u00a0 Her playwriting career was given a huge boost in 2010 when she won Best Play in the Eltham Little Theatre\u2019s Ten Minute Quickie Competition with Item on the News<\/em>.\u00a0 This short play was then performed by Short + Sweet in Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney. Other ten minute plays have been performed at the Short + Sweet Festival in Sydney (2013, 2014 & 2015).\u00a0 Beverley\u2019s play, Watermarks, was<\/em> placed third in the 2014 Carnival of Flowers One Act Play Writing Competition.\u00a0 In their 2015 competition her play, Saturdays on the Sidelines <\/em>was placed second.\u00a0 Beverley has also had several monologues performed by Hothouse Theatre in Wodonga, Short Fringe in Albury and \u2018Mad Women Monologues\u2019 (Baggage Productions) in Melbourne.\u00a0 Other short plays have been performed by Play Six in Melbourne, Townsville Little Theatre, Bay Theatre Players (Bateman\u2019s Bay) and Gemco Players. Beverley has continued to write for the Yackandandah Theatre Company with monologues included in the productions of From Here to There<\/em> (2016) and Living Memory <\/em>(2017)<\/em>.<\/p>\n

ONE ACT<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Renovator\u2019s Delight <\/em>performed in 2006 by the Yackandandah Theatre Company.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s Decided Then <\/em>performed in 2009 by the Yackandandah Theatre Company.<\/p>\n

Eating Mangoes on the Moon <\/em>performed in 2012 by the Yackandandah Theatre Company and in Townsville as part of the Townsville Little Theatre’s “Short Season of Short Plays” 2014.<\/p>\n

Watermarks <\/em>was a finalist in the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers One Act Play Writing Competition and was performed by Toowoomba Repertory in September 2014.\u00a0 It was placed third.<\/p>\n

Saturdays on the Sidelines <\/em>(formerly It\u2019s Decided Then) <\/em>was a finalist in the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers One Act Play Writing Competition and was performed by Toowoomba Repertory in September 2015.\u00a0 It was placed second.<\/p>\n

TEN MINUTE<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Item on the News <\/em>won the Eltham Little Theatre \u201cTen Minute Quickie\u201d Competition in 2010.\u00a0 It was then performed at Short + Sweet in Canberra and Melbourne in 2011, and Sydney as a Wildcard in 2012.
